We ceremoniously and symbolically went out with a bang last night. Clothes are fitting a little snug here and there and it is time to get back on track. Seems to come in cycles and each moment we determine it is time to stop the badness, we tend to try and get in one last really good and really bratty meal. Stopped in at Polvo’s and had some queso and Mexican martinis (one of the better bargains in town) and then walked over to Sugar Mama’s to get some cupcakes. Actually the first time to try them and yes, you can believe the hype. I’d say better, if not much better than most. We were greeted in a very friendly and helpful way – kudos for that. Since we went at the very end of the day most of their popular choices were not available, but even their white cupcake with vanilla icing, which I am not usually a big fan of, was very rich and you could taste the butter in the butter cream icing. We got a four pack and managed to scarf down 3 of them by the end of the night. Tomorrow morning the cocconut one will be divided and relished and then it is on to the new regimen. Eating well, working out and limiting alcohol…it will be worth it…  (sigh).
